About the Journal, Open Access and Self-Archiving Policy
ACTA GRAPHICA journal is published quarterly by the University of Zagreb Faculty of Graphic Arts, Croatia. ACTA GRAPHICA is an international double blind peer-reviewed journal. The journal offers comprehensive coverage of academic research, industrial and commercial developments in the publication of peer-reviewed high-quality scientific articles, opinion pieces, surveys and case studies, review articles and thematic communications.
The journal’s areas of interest are printing, 3D production processes and printing techniques, production of active and electronic materials as well as packaging, preparation of printing and graphic forms, and post-press graphic processes. The areas of design of graphic products, multimedia, typography, and methods of protection of graphic products are important topics for publication in the magazine. The journal publishes papers dealing with topics related to material properties, durability, innovative and alternative materials, fibres, renewable raw materials, biomass resources, chemical derivatives, micro- and nano-sized products, sensors, membranes and indicators. Interesting research areas related to publications in the journal are virtual reality, augmented reality, mixed reality, as well as visualization and computer graphics, and image and vision computing. The topics of advanced methods in product life cycle analysis, sustainability, environmental impact studies, and environmental conservation methods are published in the journal. The journal deals with important issues in the field of intellectual property, standards and norms, safety, and responsibility of emerging social, economic and business models at the industrial and consumer level, as well as economic and social considerations of production. Additional areas of interest include conservation, restoration, archival materials, and the development of new techniques of print preservation.
Authors from universities, research institutes, as well as from the industrial R&D sector are welcome to submit their papers for publication in the ACTA GRAPHICA journal.
ACTA GRAPHICA is abstracted/indexed in the following databases: EBSCO, HRČAK, I2OR, OAJI.
Open Access and Self-Archiving Statement: ACTA GRAPHICA is an Open Access journal. All content is freely available without charge to the user or his/her institution. Users are allowed to read, download, copy, redistribute, print, search and link to material, as long as they appropriately attribute the source according to the CC BY-ND 4.0 licence.
The papers published in ACTA GRAPHICA can be deposited and self-archived in institutional and thematic repositories, providing the link to the journal's web pages and HRČAK. It is allowed to deposit pre-print, post-print and publisher's version of the paper. The journal does not charge article processing charges (APC).
